
Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners appointed government relations & public policy expert Farooq Mughal to the Gwinnett County Community Outreach Advisory Board.
"I am really honored to be selected for this position and work with Gwinnett County commissioners to advance the issues important to the local diverse communities," Mughal said.
As board member, Farooq Mughal will act as a liaison between the diverse communities, county commissioners and decision-makers, working to ensure that the government is responsive to the communities' needs.
This Commission Board is charged with working to improve the quality of life of diverse community through increased participation in and access to county programs.
Farooq Mughal is a public policy and government relations expert at the intersection of politics, policy and global issues with a special focus on public engagement. With nearly 20 years of legislative experience, Mr. Mughal advises clients on a range of regulatory and policy matters. He is currently serving as the managing partner at MSGlobal Partners, LLC – Government Affairs. In 2018, MSGlobal Partners, LLC was named "Among the Best in Gwinnett" in Government and Business Advisory by Gwinnett Magazine.
Farooq Mughal has been a resident of Gwinnett County since 1996. After graduating from Mercer University, Mr. Mughal served as a legal aide to the Chief Assistant Solicitor General of Gwinnett County. Recently, Mr. Mughal served as the 14th President of the FBI Atlanta Citizens’ Academy Alumni Association.
