Stockmar Airport (Georgia) Selects Farooq Mughal to lead Government Relations & Economic Development



Stockmar Airport CEO Rhonda Small selects Farooq Mughal to private airport’s efforts to create a local economic environment that stimulates balanced growth through job creation, business assistance, tourism, and the development of a skilled workforce.


“Mr. Mughal is a seasoned government affairs and business development professional with more than 20 years combined experience in the private and public sectors. He will help develop comprehensive strategies with multiple partners for workforce and infrastructure development.” Stockmar Airport CEO said.


Farooq Mughal, managing partner, said in a statement that aviation, transportation and economic development have long been important targets for Georgia and that the region and this position adds capacity for business development in a growing industry.


According to Ranking Member of the Georgia House Committee on Economic Development and Tourism, "Mr. Mughal has built a successful relationship network with investors, site selectors and economic developers that paved the way for numerous development project wins and team leadership success in the State of Georgia."
