The Georgia Chamber of Commerce has appointed Farooq Mughal to its Board of Directors



(01/10/2022) ATLANTA, GEORGIA - The Georgia Chamber of Commerce has appointed Farooq Mughal to its Board of Directors. In this leadership capacity, Mr. Mughal will play a vital role by providing guidance, leadership, and support of the Chamber’s policy and membership efforts.


Farooq Mughal also serves on the Georgia Chamber’s Government Affairs Council. The Council (GAC) is made up of over 400 government affairs professionals representing companies throughout our state, with the overarching goal of striving to achieve the policy objectives of the Georgia Chamber. Mr. Mughal is currently serving on the Federal Affairs and Transportation Committees.


Recently, Mr. Mughal was named "Atlanta 500's Most Powerful Business Leaders" by prestigious Atlanta Magazine.


“I am honored to serve on an influential chamber board that is dedicated to this community and to the businesses that make Georgia a great place to live and do business,” Farooq Mughal said in a statement. “I am excited to join with business and community leaders who already work tirelessly to connect chamber businesses to patrons all around the State of Georgia.”

The Board of Directors governs all executive functions for the Chamber, including planning events, making connections with members and outside stakeholders, and dealing with its interest committees. The Chamber is an active force in the development and promotion of the state’s business community.


At MS Global Partners, LLC – Government Affairs, Mr. Mughal oversees a diverse and growing portfolio of clients, providing full-service government relations, public policy, and regulatory affairs advice and advocacy to ensure minority clients achieve strategic business objectives.


Outside of her everyday practice, Farooq Mughal also finds time to contribute to her community through leadership in professional and community organizations. He has served on the boards for Gwinnett County Community Outreach Board and FBI Citizens’ Academy Alumni Association.
